For fucks sake, don't just read the bits you like.
This is all bullshit anyway as has been stated a few weeks back in another thread dealing with this, the fucksticks don't take into account how much of that money is being invested back into the club via juniors or upgrades, some clubs like the roosters get an easy run, rich, no supporters, no juniors great stadium and don't have to pay for shit, others like the raiders and eels put a fortune into grassroots only to have parasites making a profit, steal all your top talent. Same for the AFL, they have profitable clubs in Victoria paying or subsidising all 4 expansion clubs to the tune of 200+ million, where was that in the list?
You really don't know what your talking about most of the time - name a club that DOESNT get distributions from their league - the fact the Swans get money from the AFL is no different than Paramatta getting money from the NRL - 2nd unlike Victorian clubs who essentially draft whoever they like from the TAC (U18 state comp in Vic) or SAFL or WAFL they don't pay a cent for junior development - the Swans however an Academy which they invest at least 1 mil and the AFL invest the same. It must be remembered the Swans do this to have 1st crack at a local product - the Vic based clubs essential get the same through father sons without having to spend a cent AND the best local talent with worrying about their players wanting to go home.
Largest profit? C'mon sarge

Profit is disposable income the fact they choose to spend it on junior development doesn't mean the 1 mil is not counted. Unlike RL clubs whose junior development is already self funded or paid by their leagues club is not the same thing as the club forking out - still the largest in Sydney!
Profit is profit that's why they call it profit!
I doubt if you can even grasp the concept!
