Well 2 of Rugby Leagues best players couldn't compete with those "uncos".
While not ONE AFL code switcher has successfully made first grade NRL.
Why would they want to? Take a pay cut, play in empty stadiums and be laughed at!

Wales, France, England, NZ, PNG, soon to be Toronto (Canada 2017) and Fiji (2017) all to have Professional clubs outside of the NRL playing in professional Leagues.

What, you mean like having clubs, players, grounds, all in a structure set out over a season.
Well of course, France and England both have professional leagues, one makes a lot more money than the other, but the nrl at the same time makes a lot more than all them combined. Still, you can make a living playing rl in france, wales, England, new Zealand, png now with the hunters (full professional side all paid the same amount). In 2017 Toronto enters into the English 3rd tier playing in 3-4 week gaps away-home (something Canadians are supposedly used to doing following sports teams) and Fiji is supposedly getting ready to enter a side into the nsw cup just like the png hunters did in the qld cup.
But if you want the big money, you either play in the nrl or the esl out of England or france (atm because there are lots of teams from all over the joint trying to climb the pyramid to make sl in Europe from wales france Canada and the English sides already there)
