Ffs there is a thread about this subject on LU, some teams have moved into other regions as the region has expanded so it makes sense to play certain teams and not others to save costs blah blah blah. Nothing at all like what is being made out. For instance, these days the leagues take in places like Robinson, Mittagong, Bowral and co. I thought it's quicker to actually drive down the mountain and play in the Wollongong comp for those teams I mentioned, yet they play the WS sides from Camden and those areas. WS is about the only place RL has ever had funding all the time or people putting in their own time to help out. Mergers, amalgamations, overlaps and shit happens. Towns, regions and Cities do not stand still in growth, if they are standing still, they are going backwards and these places mentioned in the article suggest they are all growing. Just another excuse for someone somewhere to put their hand out for more $$$$$$, well done this fella on being the first to whinge since the new tv deal was done, good on ya ya dumb shit.
