Are you thick?
The International Rights are still to be sold you idiot just like the rest of the deal, only FTA has been done for the NRL and SOO, that's it until the NRL tells us otherwise.
Nowhere in there are Internationals mentioned simply because, they are still to be negotiated you blind dopey idiot, all newspaper reports across all differing ownerships have all STATED the same thing. Maybe 7mate will buy all the in international rights this time like they had the last RLWC in 2013, who knows, not you that's for sure seeing as no deal has yet been done mr primetime Representative football has already been sold and factored in derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp!
Fuck you are dumb, or you are damn good at acting it, comes very natural I think.

214Four wrote:HOW THE TWO DEALS COMPARE AT THE MOMENT...
AFL - 2.5 billion over 6 years ($416 million a year or $23.1M per team)
NRL - 1.8 billion over 5 years ($360 million a year or $22.5M per team)
so so far the two deals are virtually even...
This is hilarious!!
You have a longer season and show almost every game in isolation! Plus you have rep games!
The deals arent even close to even. The AFL will again come out the clear winner because its bigger on TV and far far bigger everywhere else

it was on their news. Multiple media outlets are saying the NRL will get $2b max after naming and international rights, leaving them about $17m short of the AFL per season

So because the NRL can offer internationals SOO etc and the AFL can only offer a h&a season means jack people, If anything it just proves that the AFL is at it's peak/saturation point and that the NRL has still much more potential for growth

Excellent point buddy.
The nrl has so much more to offer
If AFL could sell there rights to N.Z and get $150mill
Dont u think they would add it in there overall deal..
But guess what they cant..
We count nz cause its an asset to the nrl
And if u dont we only got 15 teams
Which makes it look and sound better lol

I dont find it weird at all. Much of it compares the NRL's deal to the AFL. This is what Sydney media loves, a good old 'poor old us' story

LOL again. No, what it shows is that despite the NRLs much hyped rep games and internationals, the AFL is still bigger on TV. Which is funny given the NRL is promoted as a TV sport, and the AFL more a live sport with over double the attendances.

the number of teams is basically irrelevant when the NRL plays a longer season

Poor old us..
R u kidding
Sydney / nsw is the heart of the nation
Nrl has 2 byes per season
So really 24rds
AFL has 1 bye so really 22rds.
Game goes 1hr longer
Has quad triple amount of advertising
2 extra teams.
The nrl with match or better it
Simply amazing
