AFL guys fans may snubb their noses at this. But having another professional league outside Australia for top NRL clubs to test themselves against is something AFL will NEVER EVER HAVE.
I watch alot of Superleague matches and there still is a very passionate fanbase up North.
With 35 professional Rugby League clubs in 3 divisions.

Again they do a lot of double counting - actual active membership is only 82k. But the way the count participation - someone walking by with their dog would be included!
