People in Melbourne do not fear Rugby League so that is why so many people will watch the origin. They are just into sport in general.

Sydney on the other hand have this hatred towards AFL which is just really pathetic. Even if say someone did like it there dad would be like "your not playing that gay game".

In Melbourne while AFL is king a lot of the people there actually like the storm where as in Sydney you are just bought up to hate the swans (whether u like AFL or not).

It makes you Sydney people look like dicks.

Ql'ders aren't the smartest folk but even they are smart enough to know 2.5 long dreary hours of watching paint dry is a far more enjoyable experience than spending that time watching an AFL match.

yep League is a roaring success in melbourne,in history its had 3 or 4 people from victoria ever to play in the NRL! the participation levels are almost non existent, the storm are a financial mess or have been in their history of existence, they have pathetic memberships and crowds
