They succeeded at the highest level. Sure they didn't turn out to be superstars of the game, but they looked fine and sometimes decent players at the top level.

There's literally millions around who toiled at it all their lives and still couldn't look anywhere near as gods as izzy and khunt out there

Therefore compared to the nrl the AFL comp is relatively simple in terms of skills to make it.
Hunt was a fringe player at best and Falaou a total failure. Thats a sign of a success is it? :[]

Hunt made the cut for three years running. Folou was lauded by and impressed many who saw him before he said "fuck this shit I'm outtA here"

Sorry nlol this is what happened bro. Then you got ol grandpa fletcher who physically looks like he's near needing crutches, who is going fine in amongst the other supposedly elite AFL players. The evidence is clear, the AFL's not so hard to crack.

Hunt never had a run of decent games and was therefore on the fringe. Falou, oh yes, champion in the making. Shame he couldnt play at all

He was in the team not in the fringe. He was at the top level possible in the country and the world. And....he had barely played the code before!

The AFL - can you catch? Can you kick? Can you run? Then sign on the dotted line please

he didnt get regular games, played less than half a dozen reasonable games, and tapered off to nothing. They gave him a go but he just didnt cut it
