Perth rates terribly for RL, Having their own club wont change this any time soon

last weeks game rated 217k in Sydney alone for the worst game in the world
Sharks v Broncos and it was DELAYED!!!

a Live game will only increase this Figure massively

BS. You cannot show a game into both cities in prime time without delaying the telecast into Perth, so why would ch9 do it? 7pm in Perth would finish the telecast at 11pm into Sydney. 7.30pm in Perth would result in a live game at 5.30pm in Perth

Which would still rate through the roof.

As I have stated 217k for sharks v broncos in Sydney alone. Delayed by 2 hours.
a Live Game would lift this past the 300k mark.

It Will rate well, as I have just stated.. Current delayed games rate pretty good even know they are delayed by 2 hours..
so a Live Game will only rate a hell of a lot more..

217k in Sydney is around half the ratings of the 7.30 game, so no, its not a good figure. It will rate a few more maybe, but not many IMO

and irrespective of why ratings are down the lower figures will still result in a reduced deal

and 217 for that time zone is great LIVE will increase this

remember it was 2 hours delayed.... and 3 mins of adverts every 10mins...

Have a look at last years ratings. The delayed game often rates in the mid 100k range in Sydney. These are approaching 1/3'rd of the 7.30 game.

Not sure how youre going to get a large increase in TV rights when your ratings are dropping every year. 1 extra game involving an expansion team in a non heartland market isnt going to help
