So if we were to compare crowds in Perth and Adelaide with the NRL, we could laugh and say you get no one to go to NRL games.

I think the point is valid re the Charity Shield being a freebie for spectators and the A League games weren't. I would have been interested to see what the difference would have been if the CS only allowed for paying spectators.

But a point. Neither the CS or the A League were on FTA. Unless I missed it in the TV guide.
