Obscurity, really? We have a club team the Champions of Asia, the Socceroos made their 3rd consecutive world cup, watched by millions, and we are hosting the Asian Cup in Australia. again you have a strange definition of words, but all of those point a rather different direction the obscurity.

Am referring to the much hyped much bullshitted about Aleague..
You know the one that was taking over ,causing RL to die ,sleeping giant ,BLAH blah .

Although it seems not that many are interested in watching the soccer who's going by recent tv ratings .

Gee I don't know, NRL Regular Season Average Attendance was 15,787 according to wiki
A league so far is 14,759 same source

So a huge 1000 difference, with those figures does that mean the NRL is just as obscure? Why do NRL types ignore crowds and only focus on TV?

The HAL has pretty decent crowds and poor TV, we know that, we are only 10 years old, we will get better. What is the NRL excuse?

Yes wookie from AFL perspective we have both got crap crowds.

So the NRL club competition (after all that is what we are comparing here isn't? Our TV ratings don't match them, but our crowds do, so why does one seem to matter to the NRL boys and not the other?
