fuck you are dumb

Crowds - 2013 higher than 2012
2012 higher than 2011
2011 higher than 2010

All facts, how are they lies?

the a-league is currently on 4 straight years of increased attendances

the nrl....3 straight years of decreases

RL averaged 14.2k in 1994, 14.3k in 2000, peaked at 16.4k in 2005 and now currently at 15.9k...and subsequently has shown no signs of improvement since. You remove the bronco's outlier and their average sits at a little over 14k. Virtually no growth in 20 years....

now...all would not be lost if you take into account total attendances, if you expand your league then naturally you will see averages drop...but....total attendance should increase...as the a-league has proved...however the nrl's total attendance in 2007 was 3,024,040 for a 16 team league....in 2014 it is 3,053,743.... #nogrowth

the a-league in 2007 1,084,550

2014, 1,760,508

#growth :D

I think it's bullshit to be confidently predicting who will get the NRL wooden spoon. What if the Sharks are suddenly jumped on by ASADA? What if the Bunnies have a mass exodus? You can't predict anything until the season actually starts and we know who's actually suiting up.

the a-league is on an upward trend after a period of difficulty

the nrl is on a backwards trend after 20 yrs of very little improvement

total attendance for the a-league increased by nearly 700,000 spectators since 2007

nrl?....34,000....

the only people to blame are shit clubs like the raiders bringing that average down! the nrl must be filthy because that 20,000 avg goal by 2017 looks like it is never going to happen

15,348? stop including finals in your stats wook!

we have more teams now than we did back then, play more games, more spectators through the gates via total attendance

if we had 20 teams with an overall avg attendance similar to right now then my stance would be the same, as that would mean more teams, more unique spectators

after the original novelty of the a-league wore off we went through a bad period - a trend that follows in the steps of many newer leagues around the world - but bounced back and it doesn't look like it's slowing down any time soon

considering our tv viewership is only a fraction of the nrls, but our attendances are right up there with theirs attests to how well we're doing in that area. mock our tv all you want but take a wiff at our attendances and i'll maul ya, maul ya i say!!!!!

whats your point. the NRL cant get a team outside of NSW, QLD
the raiders are propped up by their several league clubs & government handouts and tax concessions
why can't the NRL get a team in WA, SA? in SA cannot even get 1 bogan with a rating box to watch a game of League
how about the storm in Melbourne. most irrlevant team down there in a sports mad state. a debt ridden piece of shit, extra handouts from the NRL & Newsltd, routed the salary cap, in several premierships, world club champions, yet still no ones cares about them, lose million every year
