Honestly, the term "athlete" is highly subjective and wide open to interpretation. So even though an AFL player and an NRL player tied for the win, it doesn't prove anything really. Each sport has it's strengths and it's weaknesses. It takes a very special person to be able to play any sport and do each and every one of them to an elite level. In fact I doubt we've ever seen such a person.

expect the NRL players. it takes players with extra special ability, to jog in a straight line with his team mates & when about to get tackled throws the ball 7 meters to his left or right
