Cat got your tongue on that one aye smart arse, truth hurts doesn't it bullshit artist.
Remember a few years back when a Sydney FC player got done playing around with a 13-14 yr old girl?
Yeah not much was made about that one at the time iirc.
Imagine if it were an NRL player.

Oh that's right, he was set up by a fraudster (something you and you mate know all about aye) and had his career nearly destroyed then found innocent yet too late.
What happened to the soccer fella?

Thanks for proving my point.
One guy lamb blasted from pillar to post with every wannabe hack in the country telling all who would listen to give him the death penalty.
All the fans of other sports having their say as usual telling all n sundry that the game was indeed not dying, but dead.
Who was in control of the game back then btw?

post_hoc wrote:charming view, raiderdave, you encourage people being burnt alive, mind you not surprising as you seem to condone violence against women.
NRL has a serious problem with violence, judging by their supporters on here it extends to their fans as well
Rich coming from a clown who cannot bring himself to say a bad word about soccer hooligans :lol;
Another loss chalked up for postlabotomy

Nup, if you care to read I said the nrl player needs help. I said it wasn't right what he did.
You are the pot and the kettle. And you are struggling, off day 'styles'?

Or, in the case of Todd Carney, one's own mouth.
We're talking about players here and not fans you RL drongos. At least soccer hooligans belt other blokes most of the time, not their own girlfriends

The players eh? Shall we discuss sooker players antics?
On the field I've proven them to be cheats, wimps and sooks. They disgrace the universal sporting ethic of get knocked down (fairly) and get up again and play on. And they do this in each and every fukking game with the acceptance of the crowd/supporters. So is the culture of the code.
Well no actually I step too far. The women soccer players don't do this fukkin shit.
As for off the field? Shall we start? Of course you'd have to allow us to go beyond australiA here because the media in Australia treAt sooker players with the lack of interest they do your average joe blo local butcher I.e they can bash their missus and no one'll blink an eyelid
But yeah shall we reference the blokes on the big buck overseas as to their behaviour?
Check and mate

Sportmanship of NRL players are the worst in the world by far. All other sports I know, the crowd and all those involved in the game turn on you if you deliberately try to injure another player, accidents happen, poor technique, mis timed tackle etc, but in Rugby League you have a plan to try and injure opponents, choke holds, chicken wing tackles, the only sport where it is actively encouraged to injure your opponent (i suppose boxing and ufc might be the exceptions)
Why are RL players so violent? they bash their women, they bash guys at the pub, and they try to ruin the lives of their opponents, pretty brain dead if you ask me.

You asked for it bitchfeatures
We'll start with a feature piece on the 50, that's right

a feature piece on
the 50 most troubled players in soccer... .... PART 1
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/8156 ... one/page/2
I didn't have time to go thru them all, the list is far too expansive. but this chap seems a real piece of work who makes the nrl player you've tried to shame look like an angel.
Newcastle United's Joey Barton is. Pictured here picking a fight with England North East rival Lee Cattermole, Barton is never far away from the headlines through his mixture of outspoken views and thuggish behaviour. In 2005, his brother Michael was ordered to life imprisonment for committing murder, while Joey has been suspected of assault and criminal damage, stubbing a cigar in a youth player's eye, breaking a teammate's jaw and attacking a fifteen-year-old Everton fan.
Charming stuff. Just charming.
:>:: Anyone keen for a link to the sequels of this feature piece??
This is the old - I've got posthoc pinned on the ground and firmly holding both his arms and making him repeatedly slap himself firmly in the face

so the blokes brother does something so he is guilty? wasn't Benny Elias' brother sentenced for armed robbery or murder or something? Or is it the 'suspected' bit that is troubling you? If you knew anything you would know that he has in fact been found guilty on two occasions, and served prison, which effectively ended his career with Man City and the England side.
