You brought up the suckerwhos cockhead
& they certainly dont batter the Kangaroos
The Roos Average well ova a million a game here in oz
3.5 million watched the RL world cup final here in 2008
I'd doubt the greazy shirtlifters in gold would do any better then that overall

3.5m? that all? so cute
not only did more people watch us play uruguay 9 years ago, and then watch us play japan at 3am the next year, add a couple 0's to the end of that 3.5 to get our international viewership numbers
your sport is a minnow and the kangawhos are a bunch of nobodies making no money

I like soccer Football, is a great international game. Is clear that Sydneyfc is an AFL fan trying to use another sport against Rugby League because he knows AFL can't win and their season is over. :_<>

the game between England & Samoa attracted
145k in the 5 capitals

Meaning It will be bigger then ..EVERY .. oi league game this round &

hey davey lol! what happened to the 1.6m you said would be watching on tv? you said the kangawhos compare well to the socceroos? 600k is something the socceroos get when we play in europe at 4am
you promised us 1.6m....but disappointed everyone with a measley 600k? 1m? what was it again?...not to mention you had since july to sell tickets and couldn't even sell out suncorp for a double header! :_<>
not only were there 63,000 soccer fans out in force last night at 2 different games, but 200k watching both games on fox even though they were being televised at the same time.....this is a huge win for soccer, completely smashed!

Errrr the 4 nations is still going, the ratings will build as it goes like all sports tournaments do. 1.1 million for the start and with bugger all promotion is pretty bloody good. That's two Rugby Union Bledislow cups taken out in one go, and Union lives off that stuff in Australia. RL doesn't even try and it happens by accident, so so so many people all over the media from Aus, NZ and England (9 out of 10 being Unionites) were bagging everything about the game in the lead up if they even bothered reporting it at all and now after last night, they all have egg on their faces.
That's why I love the cockroach of world sport, each time you knock it and proclaim it's dead, games like last night happen.

Exactly Parra
This series has been roundly criticised by our own sports press
No one cares
No one is interested
11 of our top line stars making themselves unavailable for the Kangaroos
Yet it Still made a fucking mockery of an ACL final & a so called.. big oi league derpy
The undeniable power of RL in this country was on show last nite
As well as the undenibale lack of it.. for sooker

Geez didn't take you long to start with the lies.
Firstly taking notice of DC fan a known troll is desperate.
Then to claim EVERYONe concedes ,is a straight out lie.
You fumblers seem to have a problem with the truth.
Why is that?

yeah....sure....
the only silver lining on there seems to be the fact that it was a double header..they even admit it could of been a disaster had samoa played england on a stand alone game :_<>
it's fine...i can understand...i'm not unreasonable...i can see games like kuwait vs jordan at the asian cup not exactly being seen as massive crowd drawers..but you won't see us doing any silly double headers to save face...that and the fact that AFC's multi-billion dollar TV deal will not allow it

113k on TV LOL and under 20k at the stadium, yet the world stood still
Going to be a great comp when the sokka lot realise that to have any crowds, they'll need Sydney FC, WSW, Melbourne Victory at the top of the table each and every year because we all know that each of the other sides struggle to break 7k weekly at their games. That's great for the comp eh, well it should be, you'll average 25k each week soon, all you need to do is cut all the dead wood.
Central Coast are dead, they know it.
NZ side was and is a disaster, they're easily dead.
Adelaide had 30k last week, this week they got 7k, they're only just on life support.
Perth hasn't had a crowd for the sokka in 2 decades, they're fucked.
Newcastle are broke and struggling, they'll fold soon enough.
Brisbane are the champions and struggle to get 16k to a game against the so called biggest side in the League, they'll be fucked once they start losing again.
Who's left?
WSW, SFC, Mel Vic, oh and that other Melbourne club that averages less than the storm and would be well under half what the storm average if they had no local derby to boost the crowd.
Fun times.
