Wow, does this mean that when the Victory play the Heart and they go close to if not sell out Etihad, that'll mean they have had a crowd bigger than the majority of AFL games in Victoria this year, does that mean the A League Melbourne Derby is the Biggest game in Victoria too seeing as the Sydney A League Derby wasn't the biggest crowd this year in Sydney, but as sure as shit as these sokka fans keep saying, if it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander huh?

Well?
well difference is the AFL were able to attract multiple 80k+ crowds last season for rivalry matches

so in that sense the a-league still has some ways to go up against a juggernaut like AFL in melbourne

whereas sydney is different altogether, sold out a joint that the nrl was and has been unable to sell out for years, dominated the news all week, rugby league journos on their knees wanting more a-league. only 3 nrl reg season matches all year surpassed that crowd and only 1 of them over 50k(barely i might add)

it's beautiful

Well?
scraping the barrel like usual
many AFL games draw 50k to 80k plus throughout the H&A season
the NRL had one 50,668, & three games that drew 40k or more during the H&A season

to even try and compare the NRL to AFL , versus the A league to suit your argument is laughable at best!
if there was such real interest in the NRL why can't they muster up the crowds and excitement that the A league can :\:

You just don't like the truth.

A club game in Sydney for the NRL gets 50,000 this year with massive Free to air TV ratings while another game with 40,000 and 180k ratings nation wide is supposedly bigger.

Top yourselves, you'll be doing Australia, and the world a favour. It's fuckwitted liars like you lot that fill kids up with BS fucking them up, I hope you lot of cowardly liars never have children, or god forbid if you do , never to let them read the absolute dross you spew forth here. It'd be up there with child abuse, actually the stupidity of you lot makes me feel kinda sorry for you, but then I realise what you are, and I hate liars.

the melbourne derby next weekend will be a great showcase for victorian sport. as good as the sydney derby was, they'll get more people for sure and will give the derby a fair go

no tall poppy syndrome in melbourne, they love all their sport

in sydney you get 50 year old nuffies jealous of the sport due to their lack of interest in general for the nrl. totally different kettel of fish! :afro:

280k on paytv, the highest rating s15 regular season match of all time is 125k on paytv, the derby smashed that to bits

when the socceroos play on FTA we rate in the millions, often at times like 2am in the morning

davey boyo we are having an intellectual discussion here between clubs that average very nice attendances in the 15-20k region

you are not qualified to talk on such a subject as the raiders only average 8 or 9k and are the second worst supported team in the country out of all codes [-X

the S15 didnt run away to summer .. away from the real football codes in this country like gutless shirt lifters
So
Dont compare their ratings to the aye leagues who have no competition from anything

280k was the wallabies rating on paytv, the mighty socceroos laugh at their numbers

your top 10 list was also missing the 55k for the allstars and the 50k for the socceroos vs south africa...but whatever floats your boat

a top 10 for tv ratings was already posted by wookie, which included soccer games

come back when the raiders can draw a crowd ya pisser
