I have no idea how you can bag the Raiders crowds when they are playing awful over the years compared to other teams in other comps with populations anywhere up to 5 times bigger not doing much better than the Raiders even though some of these teams have been near or at the top on their comps for the last few years.
Central coast says hi, Melbourne heart says hi, Adelaide United says hi, Perth Glory says hi, Gold Coast said goodbye, North Qld said cya later and Auckland up stumps because Union and League are too big in that part of the world. Did I miss anyone else?
Oh yes, Sydney FC and WSW, two teams in Sydney with a population of near 5 million and they have been winning, but their crowds are what, 5k bigger than the shithouse Raiders who have to suffer being where they are and who they are while being garbage, yet still close to beating both those sides even while as garbage as I have posted. You had better pray the Raiders stay that way or it is going to be very very very embarrassing for you and your beloved code.
the difference between everything you said is that nrl claims to be the most popular competition in the country...bar none
surely doesn't show when the raiders can't draw a fly
comparing apples with oranges as usual, all you nuffies refuse to hold the AFL in the same standards with the nrl when it comes to the crowds
but as soon as a smaller league comes around, starts showing up your comp then those standards come back into place
what is ironic about your post is that you hit the nail on the head..somewhere in there anyway, the raiders are a small club, same size club as the mariners or the jets in significance and popularity...and should not be compared to huge clubs like sydney fc, mv and wsw
