there'll barely be a difference between City and the other 2 teams by the end of the a-league season
..........and that other soccer team, ahem..... is completely demolishing both the storm and the rebels
the fact that the a-league can accommodate 2 teams in melbourne says a lot, infact that same melbourne team does that exact same thing to virtually every nrl club
there will never be a second melbourne RL team or RU team...ever...EVER
ps stay on topic

Haha yet more people watch the Storm on TV each week and they ARE averaging more than 1 of the 2 aye league sides in Melbourne, that is a fact you can't deny!

more people watch the storm than victory in melbourne? didn't wookie already throw out this theory months ago?
you've got 1 club in a city of 4million - already at it's ceiling with very little improvements to be made in the future
vs
the biggest soccer club in the country which destroys the storm in crowds, members, revenue, with even more room to get bigger
and city who are owned by the richest sporting magnate on the planet who have virtually, an unlimited ceiling on it's growth potential
- like i said, by the end of the a-league season city will already be tracking avg's closer and closer to the storm and this is just 1 year after new ownership...dont even start with the victory who are on a completely different level. our season is still weeks away yet there are currently 27k active members of pro soccer clubs in melbourne which will pass 30k very shortly. how many RL members are there? 12k?13k was it for the storm?
what code has superior total attendances? what code hosts more international matches?
it's not even a competition...it's a slaughter...sorry...
that'll be the last time i go off topic...i am trying to uphold my world wide reputation as an honorable forummite :D

as per usual to friggen stupid to understand the actual figures
the 4 NRL games covered in melbourne the storm got, 20,53, 19 & 30 for an average 30.5
while the victory got 50 & 56 for an average of 53
as per usual the dumbass NRL fan fails to understand a basic chart

attempting to suck up to the mod
the victory are ahead of the storm on membership, crowd & tv ratings of old SBS as opposed to the storm on 9
both teams do not release annual reports so we do not know the real financial side, but we do know the storm almost have never turned a profit even after news ltd wasted millions in them

victory cracked 20k members this morning, chasing after their record of 22k/23k it seems
heart moving a long nicely too, should hit 10k early this season

its to early to really judge the success of the heart after the take over, but see how the end of the year turns out.
