Hard to say the Casino always open - you'll find the cricketers arms hard to get in as it is also a topless bar, The Swan (Bridge Rd Rich), Star Bar (Claredon St Sth Melb), The Ivey (Richmond). G Bung Polo club - Auburn and Nth Melb all good depends what you want - most will be pretty accessible - but there is a live concert at G together with player presentation after the GF their expecting 20k to hang around from there you should be able follow the crowd - pretty much a pub on most corners - next day is the family day at Sth Melb Oval (Lakeside oval) if they win - and not sure but think that there is also a player presentation at Vodafone Arena or the tennis centre. Last GF I had my 13 yr old so we went to an after party - in 05 we went to the cas - just depends really!King-Eliagh wrote:Swans4ever wrote:Afraid my GF plans will more than find me quiet intoxicated and no doubt unable to catch up but hey who knows!King-Eliagh wrote:Yep first marngrook gf. Quite keen on catching the nrl prelim somewhere but I'm guessing all the bars get full and don't let anyone in??

Can't believe you have paid to go to our GF, I wouldn't go to a league GF if it was free... I guess this really is a changing of the timesKing-Eliagh wrote:Well this ones for adumb who members will have noticed has been really jealous about me going to the gf and he not. He's really miffed about it so I thought I'd document my journey to rub it in a little

Who brought this tool in?
Firstly a trip to melbs, apart from the brainwashed merinos marching round, is always a bit of fun. So different with all this brain washed merinos marching round. Secondly, do you have any idea how funny it's gunna be when tom jones completely fukks the pre game entertainment? I'd pay anything to have seen meatloaf do what he did a few years ago
anything! :_<> Thirdly, if you become a fairly ace player of a sport within a few months after playing rl, union bball and soccer in ur junior years ya kinda inevitably come to enjoy it
Should be a good day. Tom jones

KE agreed yesterday, saying Tom was actually pretty good and got the crowd going. lolJackyboy wrote:Was watching the pre game entertainment on tv; Tom Jones and Ed Sheeran were pretty good, it was much better then I thought
Terrible result on the field Sydney. Never seen KE look so upset at half time. He could barely talk and looked shattered. Folks I think the conversion is complete after he said to me he now gets why AFL crowds are so big and passionate when it all comes down to this. Poor bugger took it harder than me. Told him relax. There is always next season.
