Don't forget Basketball was going to be the next big thing in Sydney during the 90's until they said it publicly, now BB is fucked out here.

I don't think RL will drop off but will expand and grow??? At present it's doing neither where AFL has on both fronts whether RL types like it or not - their NEVER going to be the number one code in Australia!!

Wow, a platform not to old with fuck all followers for both, yet one team has been winning and had super star old has beens in their side while the other has been collecting dust on the spoons collection.
Hmmmm, 1k tweets difference. Massive
Let me know next session dopey when my team continues it climb up the ladder.
Btw, had a look at facebook yet?
oh, what about sponsors, you reckon this A League side gets as much as parra?
They don't in crowds, members, rating, merchandise, facebook. They have had 1k more ppl tweet about them, wow, I've never tweeted in my life. Am I missing out on something

Yeah I saw facebook, 121,000 for SFC. Was impressed actually.
As far as sponsors goes, our shirt sponsors pay us over $1 million a season, with total sponsorship at $2m. Revenue from football operations increased from $5.5m in 2011 to $11m last year. Everything is going in an upward trend. Can the same be said for a team like the Sharks? How about the Tigers....hmm

Crowds? We averaged 18,682 last season, less than 100 off yours but still had a higher total attendance at 261k vs 225k. And don't use the my team sucks excuse either because so did mine! For 4 seasons straight
Members, ratings - so you should. You're only about 70 years older than us. I wonder how many members and what kind of tv ratings the Eels got in the 60s?
My wee wittle A-League is a giant among the Sydney landscape
Merchandise? We hold the record for merchandise sales for a single event at Allianz, Made $4.8m off ADP shirts alone in 1 season. Been there, done that plastico
