25k for NRL
31k for AFL
RL heartland

tell your mate it happens nearly every week for the last decade the swans draw more than any NSW based NRL team :>::
Yep did mention that. His son from south west Sydney loves AFL and dad... well he is becoming a big fan too. He said to me later that night, AFL crowds are so much more passionate and louder than NRL fans and it's a great feeling being amongst the big crowds the AFL can attract. He reckons he will join Swans with his kid and wife as members next season whilst also supporting the Giants. Great to hear I thought to myself.

Here we go another "STORY" LOL about how a RL fan went to watch a game & is now converted.
Blah blah.
So many AFL fans .
So many lies..
See anyone can tell a story about a mate..

You must be running out of mates by now Beaussie, apparently every time you post on here you have converted a new Swans and GWS supporter. :_<>

Yeh every sports site has a variation of the same bullshit story.
Laugh a minute the fumblers.

Yes AFL is increasing, but only slightly, and you forget to mention you are playing catchup. With this very slight increase, AFL is still only back to the levels by average of attendance in 2002 and by numbers attending, back at levels of 2009 at best. You guys are blowing your load a little early aren't you.
http://afltables.com/AFL/crowds/summary.html
http://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/summary.html
NRL missing last 2 rounds in this table, 130k already this round, averaging 18.5k so far
Meanwhile NRL are down on attendance by around 160k on the entire attendance of last year. With 9 games to go and you post this shit, coupled with numerous excuses in other topics about games on shit days as an excuse for your number (which is also happening in NRL).

:>::
If we get an average of 17-18k over the last 9 games, then we are actually up for the year. =D>
I don't think we will get the same average as last year. But out of interest the average for round 26 last year was over 21k. Give the roosters and souths are playing, I think the 17-18k is achievable.
So now the AFL ladies [-o<
The AFL have increased averages two years running now after suffering the inevitable drop in averages when they introduced two expansion teams. How were they going to maintain a 37k average when including two new teams who were expected to average less than half that crowd
![With Stupid :[]](./images/smilies/th_iwstupid.gif)
If you're too stupid to factor in this massive change you're beyond help.
Granted, that's why I gave you two numbers, which in your little bubble world, you chose to totally ignore.
Total 2009 attendance numbers which is where you are at now, there is also another 22 games that are required to get to that number. This should more then enough compensation for the expansion sides (especially considering one has been in for a few years now), yet you have only just reached the same number of people walking through the gate. So if you're too stupid to factor that in you are living in a bubble. Forget my last comment, I already know the answer to that one.

all that needs to be said

FC, what is your deal. This is fight club, not lick AFL fans bum club. Even when these guys say something absolutely stupid, you are still in there waving the AFL flag. All I ever see from you is assss kissing, what is that about, did raiders upset you or something.
Talk about soccer growth, given you are suppose to be a soccer fan (apparently), surely you cant always be supporting what some of these AFL clowns have to say. Don't be fooled, these AFL lads will also lie through their teeth or twist and turn everything, if you post anything in here which suggest soccer is more popular than AFL. Why don't you give it a go and see how long it takes them to turn on you. It will take a couple of goes, but heck you are in the fight club topic right
Read my post above, which clearly proves in 2 different ways that AFL should not be bringing this shite up. Yep, they have a good baseline and expansion clubs, which nobody is disputing that, but that is not what this thread s about.
In response to your comment, again, have a read of my comments above as you are clearly wrong. There certainly is not a massive decline in RL. If you think just under 160k (when there is 9 games to go) is a massive decline, then you have a significantly different interpretation to most. This is something the AFL fans cant even argue and if they do it will be a defletion. As you can see, like usual my tunnel visioned AFL friends have given those facts a big sidestep.
Lastly, given the average/game as it stands right now it 15770/game, the last round generally draws crowd numbers and there is 9 to go. then I am not sure that is a massive decline there buddy. I think you need to be a little more constructive in the fight club hey.

Haha aye soccer boy, the eels won't even make the 8 again yet their crowds are still above the high flying wsw who are playing for all sorts of trophies.
Haha, can't wait to see how shit their crowds go when they eventually start losing, and they will. No team keeps winning forever.
You think when they are going for 10 loses in a row that they'll be anywhere near their 14k average now?
tell him he's dreaming, they'll be lucky to average 1,500

Like when they first came in and lost 3 or 4 games in a row, the crowds went straight to 6 k LOL

I think any comments on crowds needs to wait til next round if nrl is over ... Then we can look at comparisons to last year. Whatever the case it is likely to be around the same ... Likely lower or with good crowds for lady round, slightly higher. I think we'd all agree on that . We must then consider that the CEO saw it as a priority to raise crowds and raise memberships. Not sure how the later stands but on crowds it is likely not the start to their five year plan they had hoped. Not a is lost, however even the most biased and tunnel visioned, AFL hating nrl fan must admit that nrl crowds are really bad and needs addressing.

The answer is simple. With the introduction of two teams in new markets there may be more games but there are less local derbies, ie games involving both local teams.

Well it isn't going to grow if they insist on Monday and Thursday night football, any fucking idiot can see that.
You take every Monday night and Thursday night game and play them on a Sunday, the averages would be up across the board.
FFS some clubs have been on Monday night something like 7 times in a season, wow, that's great for crowds.
Thursday night, yeah great again for crowds, channel 9, you are fucking weak, yet it is you who keeps pumping out the shit about crowds yet you insist on two Friday night games and lately without any fucking holidays, you are having thursday night games.
WTF is up with your thinking?
Either stop playing these games, or stop bashing the NRL over your stupidity.
Next time the arlc will make damn sure if you want to fuck up our season with stupid night games, you're going to have to pay some massive compo to the clubs.
Rant over dickheads!

Ffs, at the beginning of the year, some Einstein thought it would be good for the Titans to kick off a game at midday, while it's still like summer, how fucking dumb is that?

lmfao ya sook
you've posted 5 times already on this page of this thread alone
the wsw have made you so furious that you're practically begging them to start losing games like your tinpot club
either way - that kinda stuff outta mine or your hands and at the end of the day the wsw have been open for 2 years and have not only matched the eels, but taken over em
in 10 years time ya parry eels will be a footnote DEAL WITH IT

ya i read about 2 sentences then skipped the rest....not sorry
40k average ratings on fox is what we were getting a few years ago but as the league has gone forward, last season it was 67k on fox and 105k on sbs. we essentially tripled-quadrupled our viewership in a small amount of time and it is only going to get better
and unlike another certain code...our tv ratings don't have any correlation with our crowds...so both increase...not the other way around like some other sports :>::
