Gee whiz, some interesting or some may say depressing insights to report. Staff at the club that I spoke to stated the club was broke and the NRL had no interest in seeing the club survive - being more interested in selling it off.
KE asked to watch the game on the big screen with volume but was told no... the band is first priority, despite only 2 people sitting in the room watching. Despite KE's objections that this was the NSW RL club and Parra were playing for a spot in the 8, his complaints fell on deaf management ears and KE was told to go downstairs and watch the game with a couple of other fans on a little tv mounted on the wall in an area names NSW Blues Headquarters. Poor KE.
I later ended up talking to an old timer about my love of the AFL and Swans. He said as a Sydneysider he too loved the Swans, but don't talk too loudly about it in this club as RL people are very jealous of the AFL as the No.1 code in Australia. He went on to say, you just gotta look at how great the AFL are in engaging with fans all across the country. Huge crowds and membership numbers that he said every RL fan was envious of particularly when watching RL games on tv in half filled stadiums. I always knew that much was always the case, just look at all the RL fans on this site. All full of hate for the AFL based on their insecurities and jealousy. Anyways, there you go, the NSW RL Club looks set to close soon. Gotta admit I felt for the old duck working behind the bar. She said she had been working their for years and was saddened just how little the NRL cares about having a club in Sydney.
RL heartland

RL heartland ?
you were at a club in Elizabeth Street smack bang in the middle of the city
There we have it. Sydney, according to our friend Raider is not RL heartland. Thanks for the confirmation Raider.

our game is truly tribal fuckwit
really the only code that STILL has this
the vast majority of our Sydney clubs fans still reside in the traditional areas the clubs were started in over 100 years ago
again dipshit
I ask you
why would there be a lot of Parramatta or Manly fans in at a club in Central Sydney watching a game involving those 2 sides ?
you have NFI
none
about almost everything you post about
from declaring leprechauns telling you Swines games are about to sellout
& them not even getting close

:_<> :_<>
to wondering why there were no fans of 2 NRL clubs 30k's from their base
you'd need to lift your game just to be a considered a wanker
