Well, ... Well ..., well it's coming to the close of karmichael a 3 year experiment contract with the Gold Coast suns. The AFL spent 3 million of their hard earned on this fulla and thus it's important we review his work.

My review? 3 million down the fuckin shitter. The AFL could've rescued a small third world country rather than pay this gold digger and actually made a name for itself rather than make itself the laughing stock of all and sundry who have a brain.

Here's the best footage of khunt playing AFL.

He probably got a hundred grand for this add, it made the AFL faithful cum in their panties ... Very prematurely

He never took a better mark, nor looked more comfortable with the footy in his hands. He was in Paris, unmarked...on a fukking walkway with noone around.

The AFL MUST recruit the dumbest chimpanzees on the planet to deliver their strategy. ... The dumbest chimps on the fukkin planet, seriously. :-+ :drunk: :?> :puke:

:(/
who cares, some stupid recruiter read the hype and thought it was a good idea to recruit him like israel isa failue folau.
whilst being a good marketing idea, it only proved again about the NRL finest!
to slow, to unskilled & to stupid for AFL :thumbleft:

now he will probarbly go over to the QLD reads in the union & star for his team like folau is
epic fail eliagh
:[] :[] :[] :[] :[]
Who remembers the Qld school who entered their rugby League team in an AFL comp & they won despite only 1 kid ever playing it & having a few lessons before the comp..

You never hear of a fumbleteam entering a RL comp..

:))) :)))

:_<> I never heard this one before but I'm not surprised in the slightest !! :(/

Oh and adumb. The fact khunt and izzy made the AFL and were picked in the starting lineups and were often lauded by AFL press and commentators tells us all we need to know re how hard it is to reach the pinnacle of marngrook competition in australia. Reaching the equivalent comp in rl would not be quite so easy for a marngrooker ;)

The biggest backfiring experiment in sporting history. They would've been better off training a kelpie how to play and taking the kelpie to schools for promo. Khunt has turned off thousands and if he leaves the code at the end of this season, having accomplished nothing more than the ordinary, he'll have turned off thousands more  all for the price of $3,000,000++ fukkin hell eh, what is wrong with those down at AFL hq?

KEEBRA FLY HIGH TO TAKE OUT GOLD COAST AFL TITLE

While many readers may be familiar with Keebra Park State High School’s achievements in Rugby League, they may not know that many of this years Opens league team also featured heavily in the schools AFL side that won last months Gold Coast Secondary Schools AFL Championship.

Despite only one member of the squad ever having played AFL before, coach Ben Woolf thought it would be the perfect vehicle to engage the footy boys once the League season had finished.

“We invited the AFL out to the school to run some clinics with the grade 9 boys and from that came a suggestion that we enter some teams in this years 9 aside competition. We decided it would be a great way to encourage the boys to keep motivated, while developing kicking and catching skills along with hand, eye co-ordination that is a vital component of all ball sports.” He said. “In all 50 boys showed interest and trialled for the teams so we ended up submitting two Open age group teams.” He added.

The tournament was held at Carrara and involved schools from across the Gold Coast and Hinterland. The two Keebra sides managed to make the semi-finals where they ended up playing each other with the A side progressing through to the grand final where they beat Helensvale SHS 64-10.

“We were confident that we were good athletes and knew that while we would be a bit rusty with regards to rules and AFL specific skills, we could compete if we kept our errors to a minimum. The boys picked up the game really well and I’m sure their ability to perform at this level, surprised a few people.” He said. “Some of the boys such as Henare Wells, Jordan Kahu, Anthony Utanga and Connor Toia were also part of the Arrive Alive Cup and Touch Qld, winning sides and to be able to cross code at this level in three different sports is quite amazing.”

Outstanding players throughout the competition were, Agnatius Paasi, Josh Robertson, Paddy Hohepa, Connor Toia, Ayden Harawira and Nofoa Leapai.

The Under 15 boys side also did well losing in a tight final against Benowa SHS.

“The AFL is something we will definitely continue to do with our league sides next year as it keeps them motivated and develops those extra skills that will set them apart as league players.” Concluded Coach Woolf.

Tell me why you derpers automatically assume that once someone has played your abortion of a sport they will play it for life.

They played it for something to do when RL had finished ,
they also played touch.

Why would they go & join a draft for a joke sport.
They were RL players ,& as such might have wanted to represent their country one day.
Or play a game where you are allowed to tackle hard.

Maybe they aspired to represent something more than a 4 n 20 sausage roll.

That's a great link and great achievement. Are they still doing this AFL programme to develop those other skills? To get AFL into Kebra park is a big thing. With the higher numbers required in the AFL and the higher earning capacity you may think some kids may choose that route ? Who knows. Great initiative by the school though.

This is fukkin golden! :_<> and I'll put money on it that the one who'd played marngrook before was running water for the more finely tuned rl athletes

As I said in another thread, there's a great chance the nrl could put together a teAm that'd give stkilda, gws and melbs a real run for their money! :\: :(/

well considering hunt and folau played in young teams that won wooden spoons & still struggled to get a game, yeah a full team of them would be really competitive

Khunt and izzy got plenty of games. Izzy chose to leave, clearly didnt enjoy the game, khunt had probs with injuries. Fact is both were chosen above numerous of quality players whove played all their lives... and those RL boys on the GC? fukkin belted the lads who'd also played all their lives.

Its quite comical how superior the RL players are in terms of athleticism. Funnier when you folk struggle to admit it. Best you acknowledge the truth to save some face in this one ;)

how where the NRL players folau and hunt superior athletes, its more like your are struggling to admit and face reality?
they struggled but time to get games in teams who won wooden spoons.
they proved to be so slow, to unskilled, struggled to keep up, to stupid to read the play. basally they both failed :\:

according to Champion Data player ranking points, Only 22-year-old Richmond small utility Addam Maric finished the home and away season with a lower Champion Data ranking points average in 2012 - and he earned roughly seven per cent of Folau's $6 million, four-year-deal.

Maric has also had fewer opportunities than Folau, having been subbed out of the game seven times in 2012 and spending just 46 per cent of time on the field compared with Folau's 80 per cent.

It is easy to make a case that Folau's average of six possessions and 0.1 goals per game makes him the worst player in the AFL this year.

As a marketing and promotional tool, the 23-year-old former rugby league superstar's code conversion was a success, but on the field he struggled to adapt.

It was never more more obvious than during the Giants' final season games against Gold Coast Suns and Melbourne Demons where his haul of four possessions prompted calls for him to return to rugby league.

But the Giants stood firm behind their star with chief executive David Matthews declaring the club never regretted rolling the dice on Folau. :thumbleft:

So dumbo claims that derpballers are more skillful..
Lets have a look at how they go when steping out of the Victaaaard bubble.

Boxing V RL players ..GOT smashed ..LOL.

Rexona Challenge..

Got smashed by a midget ex jockey who plays RL.

Schoolboy AFL team plays a RL team & get smashed...LOL...

Poor saps were not used to blokes who have skills like catching, tackling & kicking straight... It wasn't fair.

& then dumbo says Izzy was a success as a marketing tool..
LOL ..
Yeh there is a massive influx of Polys playing the game now..

Like Falou, Hunt tried and failed. He showed some promise but he was never going to be anything but a below average to average player. He should have stuck with his athletically inferior NRL friends that would have made him look good. ;)

Gold Coast suns coach McKenna on khunt
He showed our boys what it takes to be a professional athlete
And wait, there's more!
Ultimately it was his conditioning and tank that got him to 44 games
And this was just his coach. I recall dermie Brereton, the long haired girly looking AFL supposed tough guy basically creaming his pants at izzys physical ability and prowess along with his physique. It was somewhat homoerotic but the funny thing is izzy is like fairly avg in terms of your nrl's players strength speed power agility etc etc etc. he was good but not awesome ;)

Sorry pies and adumb but I'll take it from the girly looking AFL legend and an AFL coach rather than you try hard wannabes

Dermie is well know for jizzing over almost anyone. He was payed by GWS at the time so it was the money doing the talking. Not doubt izzy was strong and fast in short bursts. But he overall looked slow, immobile and he couldn't get near it out on the field when running around in AR. He was smart to get out when he did. He looks like an athlete playing Rugby. When he was playing AR he looked like a third rate player.

He made the cut and commentators creamed over his abilities often. They woulda kept him playing. This says a few things.

Rl athletes are awesome by comparison.
While he was not the best player the AFL would've been stoopid enough to give him more time on field than he deserved.
A rl athlete is able to switch codes and reach the highest level of competition. No AFL player has done this nor can.

Thank you
