7k apparently. More than I was expecting, and a good crowd considering the circumstances (weather, out of town team, monday night, 2-state-backwater-sport).
Now here's the rub; the fact that 7k in heartland is considered a surprisingly good crowd, is laughably pathetic, and as good an indication of how far your code still has to go.

there was lucky to be 700 people there. the ground penrith stadium apparently holds 22,500
the ground was no where near 1/3 full, considering there is not many places to hide out of the weather at the ground.
there was 700 at best

they definitely added a couple thousand people to the final attendance but the game itself was pretty good to watch
the 3-4k that did turn up got a treat. at least lol
