Wowee raiderdave hurting em with the cold hard truth once again. no that's not where rd can't win the point he originally tried wookie that's just another point won

But let's not let our mod take this off topic any further. I mean sydney, the largest, most popular, most influential, most rich, and let's be honest here, most fashionable and intelligent of all Australia's cities is clearly quite disinterested in marngrook while salivating, just chomping at the bit to get at rugby league :D

per Capita WA is by far the most wealthy state :)))
NSW is only classed as the most wealth due to being the most populated city & large reserves of coal,

if there was an example on how not to build a city Sydney is it. its a joke of a place!
beautiful white sand beaches, nice weather, picture est mountains & cliff tops over looking the ocean.
couldn't get a better place to build a city
then a bunch of brainless flogs build a city on it that has no design what so ever with it
the roads are like a snakes and ladders board, 2 lane major freeways & fibro shit shacks
its a tax payers wasteland

Per capita  ...per capita my asshole produces more wealth than wa

Sydney, the city which year after year produces the best educational outcomes in the country and hence the more educated population loves it's rl, turns the other cheek to the AFL.

I was under the assumption the well educated in NSW followed union because it's played in private schools in preference to league

The tv ratings tell the story folks. And it's glaring, sydney, the smartest city unanimously loves rl and undeniably gives the AFL the cold shoulder. It's just simple numbers folks. You really can't disagree with me without looking quite dumb.

Btw I've been raised in the sydney education system.

TV tells us nothing. More people watch reality tv in every city than watch sport. Friday nights the consistent number 1 draw after the news on tv is...drumroll please....better homes and gardens.

Hmm i was going to give you more shit about the Sydney system and not backing it up, but a survey in 2010 agrees with you, as reported in the Australian.
The analysis shows that NSW and Victoria are punching above their weight. NSW has one-third of the nation's schools but 62 per cent of the top 100, while Victoria has 24 per cent of the nation's schools and 28 per cent of the top 100. The biggest disappointment is Queensland, which has 18 per cent of schools but only 2.5 per cent of the top 100, while the Northern Territory does not have any schools in the top 100.

Tempered with that is the knowledge that the highest ranked University in the country is the University of Melbourne, while Sydney has two Universities (Sydney and NSW) in the top 100, where Monash has just dropped outside it.
I was at the monash open day today and they claimed they are number 97

how so?
i gave the natural beauty of NSW a big build up, then a bunch of idiots built a city, that road & infrastructure net work resemble's a can of spaghetti, its the worst designed major city in Australia

Melbourne is a well planned and structured city, that regularly beats Sydney as best city, which is a great effort as it doesnt have the better weather of and major tourist attractions like Sydney. By 2040 will become the nations most populated and financial capital of Australia

KE is either a 15 yr old virgin that doesn't have his license yet or maybe he doesn't work - so wouldn't know, or else he'd know our(sydney) roads are fucking atrocious lol

out all of the cities ive been to in australia i'd say brisbane were the best planned, clean and well structured. whenever ive been up there

melbourne is pretty good in that respect too

lack of forward thinking by state govt's in nsw lead to them building roads that ended up being obsolete by the time they were completed and it'll probably never change

I've liked every city I've been to in Australia - with the only exception being Canberra a cold wind swept place without character or people of character - a boring city with little redeeming qualities!!!!!

Aside of which is this a football fight club or a city debate let's get back to topic!
