wonder with those $5 tickets will it include theirLacey wrote:Raiderdave wrote:wowLacey wrote:Swans4ever wrote:Well now the tri game gimmick series is over and the crystal of SOO will dominate TV and crowds it's now back to reality for some of our bubbling RL supporters.
With the AFL set for a big weekend of crucial matches let's look at RL where the match with the most interest has to be the Gold Coast Titirons v The Snot Green Braiders of Queanbeyan.
We have the Titirons sitting on 12th with 7 wins and the Snot Greens equal last on 4 wins but that's not the point of this thread my question is how big will the crowd be - coming of SOO where historically crowds are down, how big will the Titirons crowd be given the opposition has the drawing power of watching chubby wrestling on rascals!
Now the Titirons average is 13634 and they have 5 of their lowest ever crowds this year!!!!
With their lowest ever crowd being against The Storm of 6497 on 16/6/14 - their last match at home only drawing 12189 against one of Sydney's biggest clubs St.BoyGeorge Dragqueens!
Then we have the Snot Greens have a poultry average and the lowest in the NRL of just 9481!!!!!
The match is scheduled at 2pm Sunday not exactly a friendly time for families to fly back from the GC to Canberra to start school on Monday (not that their two fans would go anyway) - so what do we recon not exactly match of the round - my guess is were looking at around 8 - 9 k! :_<> :_<> :_<>
The crowd will be ok this week because they are giving away $5 tickets, the local paper has been promoting this for a couple of weeks now.

If they can't get 15k when giving away $5 tickets there is a real problem. I'd love to know how much that searle wanker is loosing every week....
the Midgets have an offer going too for their next game

The Gold Coast is meant to be your heartland RD and you're giving away $5 tickets for anyone that buys a paper. Not the same as GWS, it's very concerning for the nRL
