As to other threads that now need to be deleted:

NRL is dead in SA. It can't be dead because it was never a living thing. Clearly a false claim
AFL is stuck in the homophobic 50's. Are we in some sort of time warp or black hole where time stands still around the AFL. It's clearly false
Crowd fudging in the VFL. I'm not even sure if the VFL keep official crowd attendances. Clearly false.
Origin killing off RL. See my first point defining the differences between living and non living.
That's just a few obvious ones to start you off.

The first argument is a fallacy and doesn't justify the thread's deletion. Rugby league lives in SA throught the SARL now, and in the past through the Rams.

The second argument is not false. The lack of appropriate punishment for Stephen Milne was proof of that.

The third one you have a point. It could be argued that it meant AFL of course, but perhaps a stand should be taken on getting that right. After all, if it's VFL and not AFL, it should be NSWRL and not NRL. We need to sort that out, and I think it should be enforced as AFL and NRL.

The last one - like the first one - is a fallacy and doesn't justify the thread's deletion.

I should point out also that threads that aren't active I am hesitant to touch. Acting retrospectively is bad moderating in my opinion.

There are no basketcases in the AFL. Therefore it is clearly a false claim and it was removed for that reason.

Now that Cracker is in charge, I can safely post here again and thank goodness. I have already invited NSWAFL and Topper back although I'm not sure if they will come back given they wanted certain people banned before they would. I've asked some other friends to join in order to keep this place jumping if we have any testically challenged males (KE, Raider, AFLC) running for it when told to tell the truth about footy and thugby and so on.

I also like Cracker's transparency thread. You should pin that one, Cracker. Great way to show the world what you are actually doing as a moderator. Xman didn't do that, and I wish I'd thought of it when I was mod here - even though in the end it probably wouldn't have helped because I admit KE got to me. Don't let him get to you!
