What a bunch of fucking idiots in here posting crap.

Get back when GWS can fill a phone booth let alone a stadium.
Yep.
Smell the fear..
Teams lined up to get into the NRL.
WE have international teams at NRL & State level.

AFLL have Tasmania to expand to,while propping up basket case teams ,

I know which sport has the brighter future.
Both have a bright future potentially, and practically if the right decisions are made.

NRL - Rebuild Allianz Stadium with a 100,000 capacity and a roof, and start a campaign to get fans to the games. Next TV deal can not include any games live against the gate on FTA. Get the second Brisbane team off the ground as well as teams in Adelaide and Perth. Either a new club in Gosford, or move a Sydney club (prefer the former). Push the RLWC to change it's qualification rules and stagger the lay out into divisions so that only the best stand along side Australia, New Zealand and England.

AFL - Must have a team in Tasmania and Canberra and third teams in Adelaide and Perth. Increase the number of games in New Zealand and push into Papua New Guinea. Play the International Cup after this year's in Britain and include a team from Australia selected to be competitive and a yardstick to aim at for the other countries. Use Visy Park for low draw games in Melbourne.

Both codes - Introduce a compulsory count of fans who support the away team at games. Make the crowd counts independent of the clubs and the leagues to eliminate any perception of fudging numbers from either code. (I believe they already do this at Etihad)

Do all of these things and I don't think we need any mergers in either code.

There is absolutely no need for the SFS to have larger capacity.
You cannot increase the capacity of SFS without starting again.
You could try reducing it's capacity to a "boutique" stadium.

There is a need for it to have a larger capacity, and yes it should be re-built from scratch. It was flawed from the start in design.

I would expect him or any other Parramatta supporter to take that view. They see Parramatta Stadium as the true mecca. It might be for the western suburbs, but when I last checked they and the Panthers are the only clubs out there.

There is logic in a stadium out west. probably missed the boat now though.

No there is no logic because the clubs are primarily in inner Sydney.

No logic in building a major rugby league stadium in the wesetern suburbs.

I know you're trying to break me, Cos789. It is not going to work so I suggest you give it up.
