What's that, some sort of weird mathematics system they have in Victoria where you sniff the numbers and then add them up?

60,000 is still a better result than 99 percent of NRL games, gentlemen.

Both codes crowd numbers are down, however what is interesting is all the hype on NRL crowds when you review the following on completion of each round:
I show the round and then the rolling average
AFL
Round 1 - Down 33% from 40652 to 27256
Round 2 - Down 10% from 38971 to 35093
Rolling Total - Down 22% from average of 39812 to 31175
NRL
Round 1 - Down 20% from 19835 to 15824
Round 2 - Down 1% from 17328 to 17226
Rolling Total - Down from average of 18582 to 16525
Round 3 - Up 18% from 13683 to 16194
Rolling Total - Down 3% from average of 16949 to 16415
Expecting after Round 4 to be down around 12-14%
You want to talk crowd fudging
http://www.AFL.com.au/match-centre/2014/2/bl-v-geel. Gabba capacity 42K and there calling 20933 as the crowd.

If the real crowd numbers were presented you would be down to around 23% down. At absolute best it is 1/3 full which is 14K, and I am saying absolute best. :>::

just because the NRL gets caught out fudging the crowd doesn't mean the AFL is.
where you at the ground today? because i was, and it would of been just a tad over full. just because you see a pocket of empty seats you bumsniffers think the ground is empty and the figures are fudged. it was pissing down rain for most of the day causing people to sit under cover. do you think the people that where sitting out in the open wore rain jackets for fashion? or to keep the rain off. the stadium is listed as holding 42k but even for the cricket the record crowd is around 37 k ish. the gabba has had some renovations the last few years, some seats taken out an bars and corporate facilities put in place. the people that count the crowds are stadiums QLD a government listed facility, they do the stadiums in brisbane eg suncorp and the gabba.
if you want to talk about fudging crowd. go and watch the highlights of the storm vs bulldogs game at NIB stadium in WA. nib stadium is meant to hold 20k but in the highlights the stadium is empty. yet the crowd is listed as 12, 014k. so go figure
so again its the pot calling the kettle blac, keep the jealously up, nrl has shit crowds, NO FANS

A tad over full??? So 45k then. Also you go for Essendon, but you were in Brisbane at the Brisbane v Geelong game, really. I live in Brisbane

, so don't be trying to tell me what the weather was like up here, there is very few in raincoats in the highlight reals. As for your match highlights, many of the highlights scan a massive chunks of empty seating not just pockets and there doesn't appears to be a drop of rain.

So based upon your comment above, at 1/3 full, then I should have said 33.3% of 37, so I was being generous with the 14k. Good point
