$1.253 AFL
$1.025 billion NRL
go back & try and complete primary school again! ****
1.253 Bill
the total VFL deal
1.025 Bill
the Australian TV component of the NRL deal only
total NRL deal with NZ ... online & naming rights included
1.3 Billion piss flap
deal with it

lol so league needs to ad its international component in as well to get close to the AFL in australia, & channel 9 picks and chooses the NRL schedule
NRL a long way back at number 2

this is exactly the point you ********* twat
your silly little Victorian embarrassment has nothing to offer anyone outside of Australia & gets nada as a result
Rugby League does & this is growing
just another reason why RL will never be headed ever again where the value of its broadcast rights are concerned by any sport in this nation

What most fumblers fail to grasp & where they shot themselves in the foot last TV rights deal is the fact & (RL people continually told them )Is that $$$$$ wise Regional NSW & Regional QLD Tv markets are more valuable than Perth & Adelaide Combined .
yet as usual all we heard were ..Regionals don't count.,Only 5 capitals is important...
As usual they were wrong..

Yes AFLCRAPPER you really believe your right we know but if that's the case and your right why did the AFL get more? By your reasoning the NRL should have got at LEAST 25% more than the AFL got but they didn't did they - so now common accuse me of being delusional and lying - we have heard your arguments time and time again. Obviously this is your only chance to feel that your right!

I thought the TV broadcast deal was negotiated whilst News Ltd was there! Pussycat what was the amount in the AFL futures fund and how much did the AFL make in profit in 2013 - let me give you a hint (89 mil) 2013 figures haven't been released yet - let me ask another question how much profit has the NRL made in the last 10 yrs? Is it 49.6 mil? One more question how is it going to help the NRL be number 1 when their aims are to be half as big as the AFL? Look I think it's great that the NRL have got their act together and RL is doing well - it really doesn't take anything away from AF or does it affect my enjoyment of AF - but to bang on about it like AF is crumbling to dust really is just pure fantasy! So your inference that this hits at the very heart of the AFL means nothing! Lastly if you ONLY have half the infrastructure, half the profile, 2 less teams, half the travel costs and half the participation - we'll then you only have to pay half of the costs don't you - the AFL's 2012 budget was revenue in excess of 425 mil out of which 200 mil went to the clubs thru base payments of 121 mil and other equalization payments -
http://www.AFL.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20 ... 12_web.pdf page 120
NRL's payments to clubs was a total of 120 mil so let's not get ahead of our selfs me ol chum!

So one the first question I'll take that as a concession that I'm wrong obviously arguing with facts is not your strong point!
On the second point again you can't offer evidence to the contrary so again I take that as you accepting your wrong!
And on your last point seeing that most of your clubs are in NSW and most RL people talk about expansion to the Central Coast and bringing back The Bears, AND your clubs DONT release financial statements how can we tell - but feel free to post evidence to the contrary!
Fighting with someone' who's best argument is to throw insults is just tooooo easy!

another point as well is the AFL invests in its future fund, is paying off Etihad stadium, puts money in to grass roots footy. what does the NRL invest in

poke filled league clubs,

Where do you think the the NRL $50m profit comes from.
The NRL invests but they make a $50m profit.
The AFL invest but they make $ 6.7m profit
The more broken something is the more money it costs to fix it.

So which stadia did they build or pay for? What have they invested in? Why do you keep comparing a profit in 2013 with a profit in 2012? Really why aren't you comparing like for like? Is it because there was no profit for the NRL in 2012? Or a future fund? Keep running from the truth but facts don't lie do they? Is your name pussycat because you lick yourself all day or is it because you keep coughing up garbage?

And you know for a fact it's a loss? Where's your source? The AFL ALWAYS release their annual report at the same time each year - just prior to June - I.e. Tax time - really pussy if your going to debate have more than suspicion and innuendo!

the AFL actually released a financial break down in their annual report of where the money goes and what it is spent on.
the NRL just has a bunch of pictures & releases a bunch of numbers, for brainless NRL flogs to get all excited over and cream their pants over with out knowing the full detail
