Okay ... Predictions for next year


Out of AFL and nrl for 2014 overall :

Who will get the biggest crowds for the year (we will include soo even though Dave


Who will get the biggest tv ratings for the year (all TV)

Who will have the highest membership?


Keep it simple guys ... Don't try and twist and spin things like breaking up tv ratings ... Picking the odd game here or there etc ... We are looking at overall

Crowds.
1.AFL Grand Final
2. ANZAC DAY AFL
3. State of Origin
4. NRL Grand Final
5. Without a doubt some premiership AFL game.

TV Ratings.
1. State of Origin
2. State of Origin
3. State of Origin
4th and 5th is a toss up between AFL and NRL Grandfinals. It all depends on who makes them.

Memberships.
I don't think its fair to use total memberships for each club because AFL teams get a MASSIVE advantage because AFL have had club memberships in their codes culture for a very long time whereas the NRL has only pushed memberships the last couple years.
A fairer way would be to make predictions on which club will get the bigger membership increase by the end of 2014 seasons, but again it would be flawed because everybody knows how insignificant membership totals are and they should be taken wive a grain of salt cos they are easily inflated, things such as free memberships to club sponsors, free memberships, one game memberships etc etc.
That's why I haven't given a membership prediction

but as we know these twats lack perspective

never mind the fact the SOO was 100% full & their club game 85% .... if ANZ held 100K you'd get up around that for an Origin Decider

the gate for their 85K club game may have been about 1 million dollars
the gate for the 84K crowd for SOO at ANZ .... about 12 Million dollars

the fumbles & bumbles game here ... is not in the same postcode as the origin game in reality when this is considered.
