No never said that .Tas is an AFL state.
Just fixing the lie that the compulsive liar Adam posted.
He said"
Totally no interest" .'I showed that there is interest.
If a NRL trisl game can get more than a season game of AFL ,then I think that proves that Adam lied again.

I see what you mean ... But if an nfl match was played there I think it would get a similar crowd .. Yet I think interest in nfl is not that high in tassie. I think the fact that a trial game got a crowd in what is AFL heartland indicates a novelty factor. But yes, obviously some interest but I think it would be on par with Adelaide's interest or interest in nfl or Gaelic football, or baseball etc

So whats your excuse for the Raiders RD, one horse town and yet 17k in 94 and now 10k in 2013! Sounds like the fans are leaving in droves! I wonder what will happen to that shit club when the pre-commitment legislation takes affect! Maybe they won't be able to rely on the money from the Hotel group who props up this shit stain club!

Did they really only average around 10000 ... Don't be surprised by faves logic ... It changes depending what argument he is making. Remember, state of origin is part of the nrl in one thread and not part of the nrl in another ... Both argued with equal vigor lol

well if
there was 4 League teams in Tassie
with 109 registed players
for the finished 2013 season, that is according to the NRL end of year report that they release.
yeah a whole great deal of interest for RL in tassie with a population of 512,100 (2012)
so please tell me how that is a lie.....

The club game only just started again last year or the year before after years of being left to wither and die (because that fucking idiot that used to run the game for news limited didn't give a fuck about anything in the game.
At least with the cockhead gone to soccer, RL is starting to get back to where it was 20 years ago.

In February 2012, North Hobart hosted a full strength practice game between the Melbourne Storm and the Brisbane Broncos that attracted about 14,000 spectators to Tasmania's spiritual home of Australian rules football. A successful negotiation with the Panthers would continue Hobart's mid-winter surge as a sporting tourism destination.

so exactly 14,000 people turned up for the game?
its more likely a wild guess, with a few zeros added.
did they actually have to pay for entry? or do you take in to consideration that it was a practice game, entry would have been free or cost peanuts to get in to

lol a lot of anger towards newsltd, after all the hand outs free memberships and tickets they game out to get people to the games.
after they sold their share in the NRL and storm, crowds & tv ratings are falling
the nrl will only keep falling to the mediocre league that is it.
