AFL has more PLAYERS!! I stand by what I said. For the record, not that it hugely matters, AFL has the highest average crowds in Australia and is in the top five worldwide as well. We tick all the boxes. You only tick a few of them.

I take it from that retort that you believe club games and playing numbers aren't important, right? Okay, have it your way - and watch your precious game die in the arse inside 20 years worldwide, while sports that actually care about clubs and playing numbers get all the money.

IMO RL is bigger internationally and on a competitive league basis - however AF has made astonishing progress in the last 10 yrs - won't be long before there is semi - pro leagues (in that they recruit Australians to play). AF has a long way to go but they are making considerable progress.

NRL started off in England to begin with & Union is popular in England, so if the Final doesn't sell out, it will only prove to be a bigger joke than what it already is.
so after 50 years of having a world cup, you have Australia, NZ & maybe England a distance, are the dominate sides & the rest are there to just make up the numbers, so for dumb fucks like you can go around trying to convince every one that there is a RLWC.

and talking about figures 170 odd of the players in the RLCW play in the NRL. >
if it was such a success the NRl community wouldn't need to go around trying to convince us otherwise!
its nothing but a gloried tournament for the Aussies playing NZ but needing to play a bunch of warm up games against minor countries

its a joke at best, you guys have the right to sue for false advertising, world cup,
it should be advertised as follows
AUS VS NZ, ,featuring a bunch of countries, that could muster up a few amateur's & several NRL players to play the might of AUS or NZ
