It does because if what you stated was true, the RLWC and all the games 7mate are showing, would have to by law be shown on their main channel first.

Uh uh, it's not an A listed event, it's B listed. So it can be shown on the digital channels to comply with the laws! I never said it was A listed. I just said it was listed!

Because government rules tell the FTA networks to show it. They don't have a choice. Seven were the only ones who decided to say Yes and then hide it away.

Youre insane jealousy is shining through.
The NRL are a big part of the comp. Many players from our comp are on show.
Aust hosted the last WC. When you have a Proper international comp ,you an play it in other countries..

As for CH 7 Burying it.
Bhaaaa. Isnt that what they do to AFL in QLD & NSW.

& even buried it gets more viewers than your Mickey Mouse IC cup ..It is that irrelevant its not even televised in this country let alone anywhere else.

Have to agree with the above. Channel 7 promote it in mornings as being on mate.

I'm loving the fact that every game is replayed at 3:30pm the following afternoon after it has been shown live with all the pre match stuff to go with it, 7 have always done International RL the best.

I bet you're loving it too

no idea, probably not great given it's played in the middle of the night and replays obviously rate lower than a live event.

plus the hype is not there in australia yet to be honest, still in the group stages in which Australia has won all games comfortably except England vs Aus.

semis and final (if australia makes it) should produce more interest. i mean, it's still been decent interest but not FIFAesque. Can't recall what group stages of RUWC were like....

decent ratings and crowds in the UK but

I believe Australia won their quarter final 50-0, correct? Not a score line conducive to high ratings.

yea, not the best reffing and Ireland were exceedingly poor in attack. Could have easily been much better. Their defence was actually quite good, just put themselves under way too much pressure that no team could withstand.

Like we said. Nobody is really interested here in Australia. Quite predictable really.
