who cares, where AFL is played it dominates, 10k turn up for a game of RL & League is the worlds biggest game

Rl has far more international presence at a professional level that's why AFL doesn't get much interest internationally ? AFL is by far and away the number 1 sport in this country ... These are two simple facts ... Get over it people .

The only way the NRL gets close to the AFL in media rights is including NZ which just between you and me isnt in Australia.
So if you count revenue, TV revenue, crowds, sponsorship, memberships, media interest, and cummulative ratings, you win one of those 7 indicators.
1 from 7 aint going to give you first prize in Australia Dave

Again, simply not true .made up figures ..again.
I'll give this a go though ....
AFL got 10 billion more in there media rights than AFL
AFL got 5 billion more tv ratings.
AFL third highest rating sport in India
It's fun to make numbers up but hardly adds to an argument . Phy is right about segueing with idiots. At least he provides some realistic rationale to arguments when talking about nrl ... That is, at least his arguments are debatable as some basis to them such as adding soo in ratings figures .. I'll argue otherwise but at least you can see where he is coming from.

just between you and me isnt in Australia.
just between you & me
that's income for our code & we don't care where it comes from.... I mean .. what ?.. aren't we allowed to spend it or something

:_<> :_<> :_<> ..... just because your fumbling shit sport has not gained an ounce of interest outside of Australia in the last 120 years
aint our fault f wit
more participants
more media money
biggest games in the country
more TV veiwers for our sport overall

And you say that Dave in the wild deluded hope that it's true. It's not true and you can't handle that!!
Income for the code huh? Well if we added the media rights for AFL from other countries - remember that's 69 countries against 50 in favour of the AFL, we'd win anyway!!

73,000 is the world record crowd for a RL international - that might be toppled in the semi final and probably the final. The record crowd for a world cup in either union or league is 82,957 (2003 RUWC Final).
Would be amazing if the RL semifinal at wembley topped that, but it would be very difficult. 60-70k is a more reasonable target.
