pokies in the NRL rule supreme. As they are the only lifeline for the NRL clubs,along with with the hand outs from the NRL, teams struggling to gain sponsorship, piss poor member ship numbers, shit crowd figures. will not generate money!
the AFL whoops the NRL in every department except the pokie department. the smallest clubs North Melbourne's & bulldogs, still run football budgets bigger, bigger than what the Broncos do,which are twice the size of every other NRL club.
the slight growth in membership was only due to having such low numbers to begin with
