Well actually it's not what it might seem to commoner folk. Terribly unsustainable to fly and stay in hotels so many times per year. While it's important I attend I am quite perturbed about the carbon footprint and public funds. So I shall be stepping down from the perch next year and taking on a more national/state focused role, with less travel.

- grew up in Nth beaches in Syd but moved here years ago

I know you live in Syd - as you told us you play in the Sydney AFL (I still like to think of it as the SFL)
