You seem to have forgotten that Twitter can be accessed easily by mobile phone. This can be done at the venue. That's why Xman's point about sitting at home watching the TV works.

It's not invalid. It's not of great importance but it is an indicator. "likes" are a lot less of an indicator and even less importance.

The nRL advertise their page, the AFL don't. The AFL has like 50,000 more twitter followers for the record.

Don't see how showcasing the game in an amazing 3 round spectacle is harming the game.
I agree that placing it within the regular season is harming that particular round, so i think everyone should just get the week off 3 times in the year and we should remove the 2 byes each team already gets a season. That way there's no blow out scores because of origin players being missing and poor crowds because 80,000 are already going to ANZ in a couple of days.
