The Telstra Premiership Grand Final day is a premium international sporting event boasting international entertainment and the 2013 pricing structure reflects the true value of the event while also ensuring affordability for families.
Fifty-two percent of seats sold to the public for this year’s Grand Final will be priced from $80 to $165 - less than the cost of a standing room ticket to Melbourne’s Grand Final.
Bronze
Adult $80
Concession $60
Child $50
considering
the base ticket price for the AFL was $150 & $128 concession & it sold out in a matter of moments
CATEGORY 4 $300.00 $255.00
CATEGORY 5 $260.00 $221.00
CATEGORY 6 $220.00 $187.00
CATEGORY 7 $180.00 $153.00
R'VIEW/STAND $150.00 $128.00

52%

where'd you pull that figure from ..... out of cussy's arsehole ?
& anyway
what about the other 48% fuckhead ?
nearly as expensive as the VFL's most expensive GF tickets
an increase on average of 75% on 2012's prices across all categories did not deter anyone
& the first allocation of 70,000 ..... STILL sold out in a few days
I mean
lets compare the ticket prices & gates from Sydney's 3 biggest Rugby League matches in 2013
& the VFL's 3 biggest in Melbourne
shall we

only 2 Grand Finals under the present configuration of ANZ stadium will have drawn more fans .... 2012 & 2009
with the massive increase in ticket prices for 2013
this will be the biggest gate for a rugby league game in the codes History =D> =D> =D> =D>
oh & I nearly forgot
it will be watched by more Australians then the VFL GF

Struggling to sell out your biggest game at cheaper prices with two local teams!
The AFL gf could sell out twice at a ground with a larger capacity.

Nrl does okay for a minor sport in this country . They should watch out for soccer though although I reckon it could go above ru. AFL and cricket are the two big sports . AFL has outratted the nrl all year by a massive amount although Australia's love of sport will see the nrl rate well as they sit at home on a Sunday night flicking around fit something to watch. Same happens with SoO.
