Oh & 3 out of 4 upsets to start the finals. Pretty lopsided comp the AFL hey King! hahahaha

hahahaha ahhhhhhh Pete, you really thought you had the big guns a blazing here didnt ya? You know what you've just told us all though dont you? You've told all and sundry the AFL FINALS are not lopsided. =D> =D> =D> Jolly good ol foe, jolly good indeed, I agree!
Unfortunately, however, the AFL COMP is so lopsided that the basketcase league didnt stand a chance of getting anywhere near the finals.
As for the big crowd at the richmond match? I thought it was an awesome match and crowd to see two AFL teams compete. Thankgod the basketcase league is safe and soundly out of the comp for 2013!!!

There is no basketcase in the AFL. There are strugglers and that's all.

This year has seen the least problems with struggling clubs in a very long time.
Now there does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel for Melbourne with the selection of Roos as coach Melbourne shoud now rebuild in the proper manner.
GWS will be aiming to follow in the footsteps of the successful GC Suns.
They are making big noises about Buddy which would be a marketing coup.
For the first time from before the launch of the GC there is some good mature age players available (mainly from Collingwood) to the lesser clubs whilst the top clubs will be after some young replacements.
A great scenario for 2014.

This year saw the basketcase league soar to making what has been most likely the second most lopsided comp in the AFLs 100 year + history. And most likely the second most lopsided competition in Australias pro sports comp history, behind the AFL 2012 comp.
See below for KE's hand picked basketcase league teams of 2012 and 2013 and their average % over the season.
201312 BL BL Brisbane Lions Down 22 10 12 0 1922 2144
89.6 WLWWL - 40
14 GCFC GCFC Gold Coast Suns No Change 22 8 14 0 1918 2091
91.7 LWLLW - 32
15 WB WB Western Bulldogs No Change 22 8 14 0 1926 2262
85.1 LWWLW - 32
16 STK STK St Kilda No Change 22 5 17 0 1751 2120
82.6 LLLWW - 20
17 MELB MELB Melbourne No Change 22 2 20 0 1455 2691
54.1 LLLLL - 8
18 GWS GWS GWS Giants No Change 22 1 21 0 1524 2990
51 WLLLL - 4
Combined avg of just 75.68%2012
Just a shocking and woeful avg for a season of playing marngrook. The second worst of all times.
2012
13 BL BL Brisbane Lions Up 22 10 12 0 1904 2092
91 LLWWW - 40
14 PORT PORT Port Adelaide Down 22 5 16 1 1691 2144
78.9 LLLLD - 22
15 WB WB Western Bulldogs No Change 22 5 17 0 1542 2301
67 LLLLL - 20
16 MELB MELB Melbourne Up 22 4 18 0 1580 2341
67.5 WLWLL - 16
17 GCFC GCFC Gold Coast Suns Down 22 3 19 0 1509 2481
60.8 LWLWL - 12
18 GWS GWS GWS Giants No Change 22 2 20 0 1270 2751
46.2 WLLLL - 8
Combined avg of 68.56%.
The most lopsided competition in the history of the AFL and most likely Australian and the worlds pro sporting cometitions...ever.
Prove me wrong folks. Please, do try and prove me wrong.

Why isn't Port in your 2013 basketcase team like you said we would be?

2013 NRL figure for the bottom five 64.06%
So who's the basketcase league again?

Crap1 please provide a valid mathematical explanation as to how the percentages of two completely diff games with diff scoring systems totals and frequency can be compared equally. Till then shut yo donkey ass snot fo brained illegitimate whinnying. Youre just looking terribly dumb, ok?

Don't blame me if you don't understand how percentages equalise almost everything in statistics, Eliagh! Swearing away like an angry troll won't save you either.

the SWines couldn't get 60K to a Grand Final Qualifier against Collingdon ... on a Sat night

... last year
no more then 40K on a Friday for the same scenario these days for the declining dying swines
& if anyone thinks that's the biggest match up the NRL can produce for 2 Sydney sides playing for the minor premiership in the last round was 2 Fridays ago
they have dicks for noses
Parra V the Bulldogs would have attracted 70K plus
same V the Tigers or Dragons .. or any combo of these 4
& on a Sat night or Sunday arvo ... it may have hit 80K
nothing can touch the NRL in Sydney when the conditions are right ....
