Nrl international

AFL domestic

Says and answers it all really

Ps I'm happy the AFL supports local talent, they should. As compared to rl though, well a truly international audience deserves internationally renowned acts.

Says it all really. ;)

What are you talking about lil man.

2010 australian band you am I were the nrl entertainment.

Fact is rl is international. Marngrook? Domestic.

It's true and correct that the scale of the acts both the nrl and less prominent AFL should reflect their importance.

Rl - important internationally, therefore acts that are important internationally should be what they seek.

Marngrook - important locally, therefore some of our best garage bands will suffice...it simply doesn't matter if they've received recognition elsewhere so why not save the dimes.

I take back my derogatory "hey big spender" comment about the AFL earlier on this matter. Thanks to Adam and crap1 I can now clearly see why it's all the way it is :D thanks guys ! :thumbleft:

NRL also supports local Aussie acts - but make sure they are internationally recognised =D>

Such is the scale of the NRL's scope ;)
You Am I is an Australian alternative rock band, fronted by vocalist/guitarist and main songwriter, Tim Rogers. You Am I is the first Australian band to have released three successive albums that have debuted in the #1 position on the ARIA Charts and have received ten ARIA awards since inception. The band has supported popular bands, such as The Who, The Rolling Stones, Sonic Youth and Oasis.
AFL on the other hand?

Well. Aussie has beens and perth garage bands does the trick and reaches their audience just nicely.

Great marketing and promotion from both codes I say!!! =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Does the NRL have international live coverage? No.

Does the AFL have international live coverage? Yes.

You're getting your wires crossed as usual.

League - established professional presence in numerous countries spanning across the globe.

Marngrook - established pro presence in (mainly southern) Australia.

The difference in status between each codes gf pre game entertainment makes absolute sense.

Garage and rsl bands fit the bill for the AFL gf. Great and relevant promo! =D>

International superstars fit the bill for the nrl gf. Great and relevant promo! =D>

 because its true...

The AFL highlighting the Australian game and Australian artists to the world.
The nrl taking the Northern English game and throwing American marketing at nobody.
