1st I said I wanted to know the shopkeepers version and then I hypothesised that that could be a high crime area for aborigine youth - he may have been robbed by someone - again I was speculating that there MAY be a reason for the shop keppers behaviour.
2nd I illustrated my point by telling you how I was followed by a group of young Koori's from the Grafton shopping centre to the Main Street, not wishing to be a possible statistic (I expressed I didnt know there intentions) I reversed course and didnt go thru an alley. I said my actions were in the interests of self preservation AND I would do the same if faced with any other culture in any other place - the point was clear there may be GOOD reason why the shop kepper did what he did there maybe not - until I hear his version then how can I make the right call.
3rd I have worked with Koori's, I have worked for Koori's I have Koori friends AND I have coached Koori kids - for all you know I am Koori - and should I be and I make these comments what does that make me?
I know from your posts you travel alot interstate and overseas, you have King Eliagh as you post name I know your either VERY religious or ULTRA culturally sensitive - either way your use of the word COLONISED would indicate to me you are not from the English settlement population in Australia, you are not Koori otherwise it would be called the invasion not a colony. Your continual use of racisim as a tool to further your argument would indicate to me that you have been brought up in a close nit community of maybe 2-3 generations with more privilege than others in your community giving you a sense of superiority to others but very naive about the world around you and as a result very closed minded about anything not condoned by your community (very fixed ideas on how people should live)!

The only reason a shopkeeper should have kicked ANY ONE CITIZEN out of his store would be if they had robbed the place before. To kick someone out, who is Aboriginal, because there is a high rate of 'Aboriginal' crime in an area, is quite simply, racist.
