That may be true, but the storm crowds have increased well in the past year or 2. They used to struggle to get 12k, but now they get 16-17k. NRL must be growing down there then. Maybe that storm train makes people go to the games!

Brand new world class stadium, coming off the premiership, it would be very worrying if they weren't getting 16k a game (which is still awful considering they're the only nRL stadium in that city).

You know what? The Storm's biggest problem is competition. I mean whenever they have a game at AAMI Park there's always an AFL game at either the MCG or Etihad.

If I were the Storm hierachy, I'd be telling the NRL to schedule matches when there's NOTHING going on in Melbourne in the AFL.
