Well well well the latest news down Collingwood way is.

1. Eddie McGuire - still unpunished.
2. Harry Obrien - suddenly not allowed to play because of some type of falling out with Buckley...

Hmmm interesting how Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley openly supported Eddie McGuire in his racist abuse of Adam Goodes. And Harry Obrien was openly disgusted by it. And now, low and behold, Harry's not allowed to play.

And the reporting of it just now on the AFL Game Day was disturbing and possibly a display of AFL coercion to attempt to hide its deeply established institutional racism. They game day hosts denied any wrongdoing right at the get go stating Harry Obrien's had a falling out with Buckley but that "there was nothing racial in it" And then skipped to the Aryan Buckley who stated that not a thing about it has or will be discussed with the media and that Obrien's playing future is uncertain whether hes injured or not.

So ahh why are the folk on AFL game day prejudging that "there's nothing racial in it"? Has Eddie been formally punished for his openly racist remarks? And why is Harry Obrien being punished?

Well well well hasn't all this gotten our AFL supporting fan's knickers in a knot. Dear my what a kerfuffle! Facts are Harry obrien was man enough to speak out against the racist Eddie McGuire. At the same time his coach Bucks supported Eddie. Few weeks and crocodile tears later Eddie still presides over his kingdom. Harry on the outer.

Sure there may be other issues they're all talking about but there's absolutely no doubt in my mind Harry despises Eddie and almost no doubt he despises those who supported Eddie, like Buckley. As a result the racism aroused during the goodies incident would inevitably be a part of Harry's ongoing anguish and a major part of his issue with club leadership. Note that no other collingwood players were man enough to speak up, perhaps subservient to who butters their bread...

I'd say what we have here folks is deep seated foul and ingrained institutional racism. Eddie presides, the AFL do nothing and those who speak out against racism go. It seems especially vile at the colingwood club but the AFL should be utterly ashamed.
