Good to see the Giants RD cheer group pop up om cue - can't have wittle Giants RD get picked on by those mean AF fans!
I can understand the ignorance of GiantsRD but you KE profess to play the game, it's a part of playing the game that shots are taken from angles under pressure and from long ranges - also the ball can be rushed thru by the defenders or punched thru to spoil the mark - there is most likely 14 reasons rather than the conclusion GiantsRD gives. KE with every post of yours today you have done and said nothing but whatever GiantsRD says. You truely are nothing but GiantsRD's parrot!King-Eliagh wrote:I still cant believe it was geelong who kicked 13 feebles!
KE I coach a 4th Div junior side - we haven't been going that great as we are the 2nd team of the club and is really a development side - on the weekend we had 11.20 kicked on us - anyone would therefore say our opponent had 31 scoring opportunities against us - however 8 of those behinds come when the ball was bottled up in our backline and we were rushing the ball or spoiling their attack - now GiantsRD would say see these skinny singlet wearers can't kick straight - but that is a simplistic view - I am saying it's really good pressure by the opposition of keeping the ball up in their forward line. What's the difference between that and keeping another side to their 20 line with repeatative sets of 6 in RL? The only difference I can see is you don't get the reward of a point to mount pressure - but the principle is still the same. I don't get upset with his comments just amazed - I know he won't acknowledge he is ever wrong, but I try to acknowledge when I'm wrong and have done so on several occasions where you make a valid point. A fight club is an argument club in reality isn't it - not an disagreement club, anyone can just ignore all facts and disagree - that is what GiantsRD does which gets people upset. Now I think he does this on purpose maybe just to start a topic - he seems to cut and run alot - or he could really believe all he says. But KE you have made some intelligent observations and points and I find it strange that you support him when he conjures up some opinion that is really wrong? I don't support all opinions of AF followers just for the sake of it.King-Eliagh wrote:Yeah swines but still 1 goal 13 feebles is something all coaches from under 10's to the pros would be disgusted with. You need to acknowledge that ol raider makes some poignant points, and often. This is precisely why you all get so roused up by what he has to say about the AFL. It's hilarious viewing I must say.
Just take a chill pill man and Raiderdave know that yeah, he's made a good point. I mean the AFL cant be perfect right? I wish it was but know it can never be and it just really disappoints me that during the last decade or so the comps really gone down hill.
From someone who says they play the game and watch it you have NFI. How many of those scores were from set shots, shots under pressure, from a tight angle, from outside 50, rushed behinds, or spoilt off the pack?King-Eliagh wrote:Yeah swines but still 1 goal 13 feebles is something all coaches from under 10's to the pros would be disgusted with. Get a clue

0.014 or something
The OP doesn't merely disparage Geelong's initial goal kicking (which was awful, no bones about it), but goes on to infer that nRL players are superior sportsmen and those kind of mistakes wouldn't be accepted in your sport. I pointed to a very recent example where an entire team couldn't manage the comparatively unskilled task of placing a ball over a line as way of pointing out that all proffessional sporting teams have bad days.King-Eliagh wrote:Drac wrote:Didn't one of your teams go scoreless this round? Relevance equals diddly. Look raider makes a good point. If Geelong missed that many shots they should be very concerned. Its simply not something that can be argued against no matter how mich you feeblin turkeys whine and cry. End of
