Hmm, why does the NRL rate far better, almost double, on Friday night compared to Sunday afternoon?

Because friday night is live. People do not want to watch games on delay in 2013

I wasn't having a go at anything. Just stating a fact. It was up against Saturday night AFL. It would have rated 400K+ in Melbourne if it was midweek up against no sporting competition. Instead it rated in the low 100K mark. I assume there was a Saturday night RL match as well, that sucked NSW/Qld viewers away as well.

There was a West Tigers v Canberra nRL game on Saturday. It didn't rate very well though. Worse than the Port Adelaide v Sydney early Saturday game in fact (worst rating timeslot of all AFL games)

Interesting. You honestly think prime time sport is more popular because the games are live? How do explain the foxtel ratings which are also higher in the evening compared to matches in the afternoon?

Yeh and your game is so exciting that grandparents are still getting a run. Fair dinkum, they showed some old dude still playing AFL up here in his 60's. Good on him I say, but really shows the level of skill required to play the game

NRL rates on average on FTA 650k delayed on sundays, and this sunday actually rated about 850k for a delayed game.........................Double 850k and that is 1.7m.......no seeing this double argument on fridays story Xman.............

Maybe if you had a brain you would realize that NRL on firday is Live and Sunday is on a 2 hour delay..........................might explain the drop in ratings.......................but you already new this didn't you????????????????????
