yep, that's right. Apparently their biggest game of the year still has around 10k tickets left! What a joke
Three games a year that NRL supporters can claim they have a blockbuster! Wow, the AFL have at least 1 a week.
LOL! Tickets went on sale last year and they can't even sell out the so called "biggest rivalry in Aus sport"? What a fucking joke. Imagine the crowd they'd get to the 3rd game if QLD won the first 2 matches?

16.5 Million sets of eyes on our 4 biggest games in 2013
tell me can that silly little game from across the murray match that ?
hello
any proof of figures Raiderdave?
the majority people that watch the State of origin are bandwagon fans that only have interest in it as its the state vs state concept & its an excuse to meet up with mates and get pissed & turn up to work the following day with a hang over. the majority people have no interst in the NRL, tv & crowd figures support this.
the AFL had state of origin years ago but scrapped it due to lack of interest, the big clubs the Collingwoods, Essendons, Carltons Hawthorns, West Coast, Adeliade, have built up a competitive tradition's of hating one another that there is no need or intensest for the AFL to have the state or origin
anyone
bow down fumblers
KING ORIGIN IS HERE

If it were king it would have sold out by now!
Seriously put this shit on a Saturday arvo and see how many people bother tuning in to your little state rivalry which every time it's played further re-emphasises the fact that only 2 states play that stupid thugs sport.

did you answer the question ?
nope
didn't think you would
you could put it on midnight on a Monday & it would still be the biggest sporting event there is F wit
bow down you fumbling shithead

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

2 states with more people in them then the 4 tiny little backwater shitholes ... who play yours
Yet these 4 states even with less population still follow football more than NSW and QLD follow nRL! Not to mention that more people in NSW and QLD follow football than people in the other 4 states follow bogans rugby!

Yes this is the time, to take a bow and acknowledge the might and power of RL. A massive stage, a massive event, of which nothing in aus sport equals. One in 3.5 melbournite households have the tele switched on to and loving nothing but RL action on these wed nights coming up. They'll be glued to it down there, as they are in darwin, brissie, canberra and sydney. Hell even adelaidians and perthoids sit back and take a bow over the next 6-8 weeks....because they respect and love it.
Take a bow you submissive lil bitches, there's nothing more you can do as the premier australian sport gives yas all a whippin

you have nothing... zip zilch .... naught

Except much bigger crowds, which rather destroys your argument utterly. So I rule the point irrelevant.

Rubbish. The AFL GF regularly beats SOO TV ratings despite being shown on Saturday arvo. It also smashes it for attendance, as do numerous other AFL home and away and finals games.

Actually Channel 9 in Adelaide make a loss by showing SoO. Their regular programs like The Block or whatever they show at 7.30 rate over 100k normally, SoO usually rates in the 60k's.

60,000 Adeladians, all sitting down to watch their RL! Not to mention all the rest who travel interstate or watch it in the pubs and bars. Pretty good going for our second most southern city. Melbs has got yas though, they know what's good for em

80,000 at the MCG & gate takings of $500,000 to $600,000
RL's SOO
around 80,000 there next week in Sydney ..
6 Million dollars in gate takings
Got you, you hypocrit idiot! I KNEW you'd be stupid enough to slip up on this issue!
Last year's prelim final between Sydney and Collingwood the tickets cost literally TWICE as much as the corresponding nRL prelim at the same ground the following night. The nRL may have had 13k more people attend but the AFL made WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more money, which according to your above logic, is a more accurate measure of pulling power.
AFL prelim in Sydney > nRL prelim in Sydney using your own ****** logic against you.

did the NRL prelim attract a gate 1/10th of the VFL's
of course not you fuckwit
in fact it was pretty close gate taking wise
we all know no one purchased the expensive seats at the Vicky Kicky prelim final in Sydney
only the cheaper ones
whilst a nice cross sections of all categories were taken for the NRL
anyone wanting to compare a game with tickets as cheap as $2.50
to one that has children paying $45 for the cheapest seats in the house ..... is a lunatic
