It is a nz team though ... representing nz but Yeah if they can a good crowd like that there and as rl is followed somewhat , well heaps more than AFL but less than union, it may be good to put a club there. Maybe that town is crying out for a sports team maybe ???

i'm sure I could dig up 100 posts from feebleball fans in here stating Kiwis don't much care for RL
the Warriors are all but last in the NRL & have drawn 2 crowds ova 30K so far in 2013
imagine if they were near the top
it seems our singletballers are wrong about this as well
add this to 500 other things they aint got right

Would seem so if that were the case there Dave. Although the AFL got 23000 or whatever so I'm assuming that they would turn up for any sport promoted properly. I would have thought rl would have a greater footprint although union would be the main sport I would think. Not much of a jump to rl I guess given similarities in game. Whereas AFL totally different concept and less easy to understand.

It's the 5th game in the last decade to be held in Wellington and the first time the Warriors played as the home team.
The average attendance rain hail or shine is over 20,000.
The Southern Orcas / Whatever will get a team some time down the track.
