You carried on calling me all sorts of things when I was putting a serious point across about grass roots growth of rl in Victoria and that my son had no club he could play for in his area . You went on that he had 150 sides to choose from ??? Which he doesn't .

RL In Melbourne has almost matched the growth in club registerd players for vicky kicky in Sydney .... & fumbleball has had an extra 17 years
ex pat sthn mongas make up most of the players before 1982 , & it hasn't changed ... same as in qld

& RL has not spent a hundreth in Vic of what the VFL has in NSW
I'd say thats a very good result for RL
& an alarmingly bad one for the Victorian game ..

That's just plainly wrong Dave ? I said my son couldn't play we're we lived as there were no clubs... Which remains the case. There is very little presence of rl in Victoria . There are about 13 teams ... 1 leauge in Victoria . Compare that the Sydney AFL . Seriously. If you can't see that rl in Victoria is so small, especially compared to how AFL is doing in Sydney then there is little point discussing it further because you just simply refuse the evidence that is there for everyone to see. Anyway, you have your weird agenda and no amount of reasoned arguement or simple fact is going to change this. The way the AFL has established itself in NSW and Sydney should be a model for the nrl .

2500 registered players is 166 teams - clearly this is not the case - more like between 500-700 at most which I doubt!
