Unfortunately for the AFL they look so guilty right now.

Xman can defend all he likes but the fact is, those AFL clubs associated clearly knew and aimed to push the boundaries on what is considered illegal. They went to the frontier of dodginess with the intention to 'beat' the system.

Xman would also defend the likes of Ben Johnson if, at the time of his doping, anabolic steroids were not yet considered illegal. Fact of the matter is, when it comes to drug cheats in sports the criminals are always one step ahead of the authorative bodies. Xman supports those who are one step ahead of the authorities. Therefore Xman may also now be considered..."drug cheating scum" [-X [-X [-X [-( [-( [-(

You have absolutely no proof of anything. We do know players from both codes are accused, both by ASADA and by Charter. The ASADA investigation will show the truth, hopefully.

We also know the sharks blamed each other and effectively confessed.

I'm not saying the NRL clubs are innocent. I'm saying that 4 corners episode highlighted, with verbatum of a meeting which took place in an AFL club, just how guilty this club was. And essendon and melbourne were put on the same page, so to speak, in this documentary. [-X [-X [-X [-( [-( [-(

No they werent. In fact they made a not of saying it wasnt either Essendon or Melbourne. They also never said this third club acted on said meeting.

No doubt the AFL have seen more media heat of late on this topic. More evidence NRL fans are full of it when they claim the media are AFL friendly and against the NRL

gee why are the NRl fans so judgmental and integrate .
King-Eliagh you are about as stupid as Raiderdave, so quickly to jump on the AFL bashing bandwagon, when your own shit game is under investigation as well! [-X
there are currently 6 NRL club currently being investigated buy WADA as well. as well as the 30 odd players mentioned.

so we can all throw insults at each others code, but at the end of the day if these allegations are true or not it will all come out in the WADA investigation's, but both AFL & NRL will come under heavy scrutiny

Excuse me adam but I think you misread the context of this thread. We're talking about how shocking the AFL looks in light of the 4 corners doco. There's no place for sensitive, 'dont insult me' teary types in this thread thank you very much. So enough of your emotional rabble and keep to what this thread about, otherwise I'll have to ask Xman to consider banning you from my/this thread. [-(

Horse Steroid taking RL scum - do their hypocrisy know no bounds. Very Selective allegations here don't see references to all NRL clubs that were also named in particular the real tragedy of Jon Mannah passing away http://m.heraldsun.com.au/AFL/more-news ... 6630371524. Regardless of code this is a concern for Australian sport.
