To make it sound like there's people at the nRL, they need people holding microphones on the boundary lines! Standard cameras with a microphone don't capture crows noise as it's not loud enough.

So what crow do u reckon the Swans Giants game will get on Saturday Dave?
Considering its on Easter Saturday at a really strange time, I would say 30,000 would be a good crowd.
What do u reckon?

What do u reckon?
30K for the VFL premiers , & lets face it
they'll provide nearly all the fans
is good is it ?
they got ova 60K on average at ANZ in 2007 after their 2 GF appearances
no clearer a indication of the decline of the victorian game in NSW would there be .... then a turnout of just 30K

I remember going to the 2003 preliminary final at ANZ vs Sydney & 73,000 were there. yet only 45,000 went to the Collingwood preliminary last year
So yes u correct there is bit of a decline. I cant work it out...

Isnt 30-35k the swans avg crowd? Surely they can surpass the normal swans avg crowd for this trumped up battle of bridge! Alas though stewie I cant agree with your crowd prediction. I think it'll be 25-30k because the normal swans crowd wont be keen to bother watching what will essentially be a non-event.

It's what dave, myself, eels and other clear headed members have been saying all along pete. People here in Sydney love RL not marngrook. It's just the way it is and always has been. The 73k crowd you talk about was there for the novelty factor and nothing more. The chardonnay sippers came out in force after hearing syd were in a prelim final for the first time in sydney in i dont know how long. They came, they sipped their chardonnay, they didnt understand the sport, they left, they told folk in their office on monday with an upturned nose and a slight lisp "yes, well marlene and I went to the swans on sat night. We had some chardonnays, it was wonderful" - "oh really, i've never been to a swans game, i'll have to go to one one day. They play on an oval shaped field right? Who played well?" - "Yes it was an oval, that's right and Ohhhh i dont know their names but the chardonnay was quite a decent drop which i wasnt expecting at a football match" and so on and so on.
This is the harsh reality pete. Just the way things are. Always have been, always will be. I hope I've helped

No, 25k is.
The game is a giants home game so swans members don't get free access. Therefore you can't just count 25k swans fans plus 10k giants fans. If they get 30k this will be a great effort and again embarrass the NRL in their won heartland =D>
Wow just wow.

It would if it were a Swans home game at a completed SCG with a capacity over 45,000. Since it's a Giants home game it will get a bit less. I can see future Sydney derbies selling out at the SCG when both teams are playing good football.
